Horticultural Base
We dissect every stem using real (not dried) matter, sharing the exact water gradient and cut angles used by our florists in the Perth flower market.
Design Theory Lab
Colour wheel gets a twist: you'll map out contrasting foliage against the neutral tones of native Protea and Eucalyptus, then break the rules.
Portable Inspiration

Our Expertise
Our lead educator, Rhea Nguyen, spent a decade as a floral buyer for high-end Perth hotels before turning to small-group teaching. She trained under Dutch floral artist Kees van der Veen and now transposes that formal rigour into an approachable, stress-free studio environment.

How It Works
Welcome & Coffee Ritual
We start with a bowl of local single-origin brew and quick introductions, so you can ask the 'silly question' without hesitation.
Stem Breakdown Lab
You'll receive a tackle box with mini shears, root cloth and binding twine. We take apart a few stems to check hydration levels and air pockets.
Triad Colour Theory
Using seasonal leaves, we try pairing peach with dusty blue and terracotta. You'll learn why certain combos 'humb' under evening light.
Hand-Held Spiral
The most signature bouquet structure: we break the physics of the spiral into bite-size movements, correcting thumb pressure as you go.
Wrap & Share
Finally you wrap your masterpiece with waxy kraft paper, tie with biodegradable hemp and present it to the group for a joyful snapshot.
